The Omega Seamaster 300, a name synonymous with underwater adventure and precision, has etched its place in horological history since its inception in 1957. Designed primarily for divers and professionals who ventured into the deep, the Seamaster 300 was Omega's answer to the growing demand for reliable underwater timekeeping. This iconic timepiece was part of Omega's broader strategy to dominate land, sea, and air; alongside the Speedmaster and Railmaster.
    
The original Seamaster 300 (reference CK2913) was engineered with a water resistance of 200 meters (660 feet), a remarkable feat at the time. It featured a black dial, luminous hands and markers for visibility in low light conditions, and a rotating bezel to track dive times - innovations that catered directly to the needs of divers. Over the decades, Omega has continuously refined the Seamaster 300, incorporating advanced materials like ceramic and Co-Axial movements for enhanced performance.
    
Despite these technological advancements, it retains its classic aesthetic that nods to its illustrious past.

As a limited edition (2452 out of 3557 pieces), this watch is of course difficult to procure and also to be kept in this wonderful unworn condition complete with original box and paperwork - and is still stickered, is incredible. 

A 60th Anniversary tribute to one of three classic timepieces released in 1957, this Seamaster 300, limited to 3,557 pieces, is based on the CK2913 and retains the Naïad sign on the crown, which back in '57 was a mark of the watch's exceptional water resistance, as well as the 1957 Seahorse on the caseback.

In common with all three watches in the Trilogy, it is cased in brushed and polished stainless steel and features a black 'tropical' dial, with vintage indexes slightly deepened to allow filling with Super-LumiNova.

The stainless steel bracelet has been updated for strength and features a retro-style OMEGA logo on the clasp. It is powered by the Master Chronometer 8806

The watch is in mint condition and has not been worn since being purchased, what a gem of a find! 

At 39mm, this watch is meaty on the wrist but wears very comfortably, it certainly has a presence and will no doubt inspire some admiring glances. The stunning dial is encapsulated underneath Scratch‑resistant sapphire crystal with an anti‑reflective treatment inside. It has a water resistance of 30 bar (300 metres / 1000 feet) for the adventurous souls that wish to dive with it! 

This is a wonderful purchase that could be a potential investment given its limited numbers, but at its core, is a wonderful watch to wear and enjoy - we love it.
