Vulcain, a revered Swiss watchmaker, was established in 1858 by Maurice Ditisheim in La Chaux-de-Fonds. Renowned for its technical innovation and craftsmanship, Vulcain gained fame with the introduction of the Cricket alarm watch in 1947.
