Omega Art Deco Vintage Watch - Refinished Dial - c.1940s
A Charming Tank-Shaped Omega Dress Dress Watch with a Beautiful Art Deco Style Dial, c.1940s
Omega watches have a rich and storied history that spans over 170 years. The brand was founded in 1848 by Louis Brandt, who initially started as a small workshop in La Chaux-de-Fonds, Switzerland. However, it was not until the early 20th century that Omega gained recognition on a global scale. In 1903, the company introduced the revolutionary Omega Calibre, which quickly gained popularity for its precision and accuracy.
What’s On Offer
How charming is this Vintage Omega Art Deco watch? At some point the dial has been refinished however it takes nothing away from the beauty of this piece. The square dial is beautifully unique and features Breguet numerals, slim leaf hands and a recessed tank-shaped sub-seconds counter at 6 o'clock. The watch is quite slight at 27mm so it is ideal for someone with a slender wrist, and it wears beautifully. The watch has recently been serviced so it is running well. This is a nice piece with bags of charisma, you simply cannot go wrong with vintage Omega! Lovely Jubbly!
