Several prestigious watch manufacturers from this period supplied RAF watches including Longines, Jaeger Le-Coultre and Omega. Most of these watches followed a standard specification, including a white dial with black Arabic numerals, centre seconds and blued steel non-luminous hands.

These watches are commonly referred to by their RAF stores reference number 6B/159. This RAF stores reference refers to aircraft navigation equipment.

This watch is in incredible condition given its age of over 80 years! The once white dial has aged beautifully to an almost sepia colour and presents with a light spattering of patina, those who appreciate the natural ageing process of vintage watches will appreciate how well this watch has been preserved.
