A Very Well Preserved 1974 RAF Issued Hamilton Geneve 6bb in Fantastic Condition With Nicely Aged Lume. 

Hamilton produced for the RAF under the 6BB mark between 1973 and 1976. The watch succeeded the earlier Smiths production piece and preceded the CWC production pieces. The ‘T’ marking on the dial stands for tritium, the original 1960s and 1970s material used to make dials luminescent, a mark that guarantees the originality of the dial.  The fixed lug bars are typical of military pieces, notably also present in the ‘Dirty Dozen' collection. 

What’s On Offer 

This watch is in remarkable condition considering its age of nearly 50 years! The dial has remained rich black and the bold Arabic numerals are still brilliant white and crisp. The original sword hands are in superb shape and boast their original tritium (as denoted by the T circle emblem) lume which has aged to a beautiful pale vanilla colour, as have the lume plots on the hour markers. The military arrow is present at 6 o'clock denoting the watch as the property of the MoD, this is also present on the caseback along with additional store and reference numbers. The dial is completed by the Hamilton signature which is underwritten by Geneve - making it eve more collectable!

The watch is robust by nature and as such is running well and keeping good time. These watches are very collectable but also very wearable and look great on the wrist whilst remaining light and comfortable. A joy for any military enthusiast.
