c.1969 Rolex Oyster date 6694/0 – Linen dial with original guarantee papers dated when the watch was sold new in 1976 and then further Rolex service papers from 1980 and again in 1998. In summary a well looked after watch which is self evident in the flesh.

A beautiful vintage 35mm stainless steel case Rolex in excellent condition, featuring the smooth bezel, Rolex Oyster bracelet, date aperture at 3 o’clock and last but by no means least, a ‘linen’ dial with beautiful metallic crosshatching across the face. This dial makes the watch stand out for us: the way it finds and loses textured shadows as it turns in the sun is truly stunning.

Manually-wound caliber 1225 movement with 17 jewels. All in great condition. There is minor rubbing on some of the case edges and 2 minuscule scratches on the edge of the glass above 1pm (barely visible), though there is little to suggest significant wear elsewhere on the watch. We hope you’ll agree that this watch is in truly fantastic condition for its age.

The watch is supplied with its original guarantee, translation booklet and warranty as well as two Rolex service documents.
