The Omega Speedmaster is one of OMEGA’s most iconic timepieces. Having been a part of all six lunar missions, the legendary reference is an impressive representation of the brand’s adventurous pioneering spirit.

We are pleased to offer this stunning Omega Speedmaster Professional “Moonwatch” reference 311.30.42.30.01.005 (the last of the caliber 1861 models and now discontinued), which features a beautiful blemish-free black dial underneath hesalite crystal, furnished with small seconds sub-dial, 30-minute recorder, and 12-hour recorder along with a central chronograph hand. The black bezel, with its tachymeter scale, is in very nice condition and looks well mounted on the 42 mm stainless steel case and presented on a matching Omega bracelet. At 42mm, this is a meaty watch with substantial proportions, certainly a striking piece with much desirability. Form and function come together perfectly and produce one of Omega's most sought-after references, a fantastic addition to any collection and offering versatile wearability from every day wear right through to formal occasions.   

At the heart of this (Now Discontinued) chronograph is OMEGA’s mechanical caliber 1861, a descendent of the legendary manual-winding movement worn on the Moon and no longer being produced as it has been replaced by the caliber 3861, Co-Axial movement. This timepiece is offered with its original special Moonwatch presentation box and its original paperwork. Any Omega fan would be thrilled with this watch.
