The Omega Speedmaster 176.0012 is a distinguished timepiece that embodies the brand's legendary precision and robust design. Encased in a solid, tonneau-shaped stainless steel case, it provides a distinctive, vintage appeal, reminiscent of the 1970s era. Equipped with a tachymetric scale usually, this iteration displays a much rarer, telemeter scale on the dial's periphery. While a tachymeter measures the average speed of a moving vehicle, a telemeter has a markedly different function – it measures the distance between you and the target. The telemeter 1km is a much rarer version so this watch is quite the find! 

You may note that the caseback of the watch displays a Seamaster emblem, this is because the Speedmaster was originally a diffusion line of the original Seamaster - it is the correct caseback and is referring to the water resistance of the case rather than the model name.
