This Omega Seamaster Planet Ocean with its Chronometer rated movement stands out from the crowd with the “orange kit” and is a vibrant display of Omega’s horological mastery. 

The orange bezel surrounding this Omega Planet Ocean Seamaster dial really grabs the eye, adding to the intrigue created by the orange hour numerals and the orange-tipped second hand. The bright colours are practical as well as aesthetic; orange is more visible underwater and well suited to diving applications.

There is a date Cyclops at the 3 O’clock position, which is easily adjusted by the quickset, screw down crown, which is also found at 3 O’clock. There is a second crown at the 10 O’clock marker, which is used as a helium escape mechanism for resurfacing after diving. 

Both crowns on the case are screw-down to ensure waterproofness on this Planet Ocean. The bracelet wears very comfortably due to its design and the use of high-grade solid stainless steel; these elements all compliment this “orange kit” Seamaster 600 watch very well. 

This Omega Planet Ocean has hardly been worn and consequently shows little evidence of any cosmetic wear. The watch has not been polished, so as with most pre-owned watches there may be microscopic marks to the case. It must, however, be said that these are purely cosmetic and only visible when inspected with a magnifier.
