***NOW SOLD***A Handsome Vintage Gold Plated Omega Seamaster in Beautiful Preowned Condition, Reference, 165.002, Issued in c.1968.

The Seamaster is the longest-running product line still produced by Omega. It was introduced in 1948 and was based upon designs made for the British Royal Navy towards the end of World War II. The original Seamasters key feature was an O-ring gasket used to provide its waterproof seal. A truly iconic timepiece, it holds a special place within the horological hall of fame -  not only of Omega but of the entire watchmaking industry.

What’s On Offer 

This gold plated vintage Omega Seamaster is in super condition with a really attractive silver dial which boasts applied gold hour baton markers with inserts, super-slim pencil hands, also with inserts and a needle central seconds hand. The cross hair detail gives the dial a nice balance directing the eye upward to the applied Omega emblem and downward to the Seamaster signature. There is a spattering of patina, evenly dispersed across the dial, giving a delightful vintage appeal. The gold plated case compliments the dial furniture and adds an opulent finish to what is a rather delightful dress watch which we have paired with a brown leather strap with an Omega pink buckle - also in gold. This watch wears comfortably on the wrist and the design offers timeless elegance, a nice package from Omega. 

Running well and keeping good time, this watch has recently undergone a full service by our master watchmaker, so is sold in excellent condition as always.
