This is the more recent re-edition of the original and iconic 1957 Omega Railmaster. It is known as the XXL Aqua Terra, reference 2806.52.37 and it is a stainless steel watch, which is in excellent condition and comes complete with its original box, warranty and chronometer cards and all books and swing seals etc.

These watches although not as rare as the original 1950's models are also now getting harder to source, especially in as nice, complete and original condition as this one which is unpolished and has been worn sparingly by its single owner from new! They were produced in a relatively short run over a couple of years before again being discontinued.

The case, as the model name suggests, is XXL at just over 49mm in diameter and as previously stated, is in excellent condition, showing very little sign of wear. Although a large case it wears very comfortably. Within the case lies a beautiful, mint manually-wound Omega 2201 calibre movement which is Chronometer rated and can be seen through a transparent case back. You can see the Geneva waves, the circular graining and rhodium-plated finish together with gold plated engravings which is a pure work of art just ticking away. The movement has a 53-hour power reserve and is an officially certified chronometer. The dial is black with a small sub-seconds dial set at 6 o'clock and triangle hour markers and Arabic 12, 3, and 9.
