This very collectable watch is in excellent condition! It is the Omega British Military "w.w.w." model from around the 1940's.
After one or two other military watches such as Rolex and IWC, it is amongst the most collectible military watches of them all. This is due to the fact that Omega manufactured it specifically for the British Military and it was deemed as a “no compromise” wristwatch. This was because no costs were spared to create a watch that was durable, rugged, accurate, reliable, legible, and able to operate as an instrument under extreme conditions, and this watch has still all those attributes and more.
The condition of this one is excellent, with some minor almost microscopic marks to the case. the hands and dial are in excellent condition. the watch is typical military and has a mat black dial, contrasting white markers, luminous hands and hour marks still with reasonable luminosity. it is plain and simple in it's design for maximum legibility. The full stainless steel case as you can hopefully see from the photographs, is in imaculate condition considering it's age. It has the tipically larger unsigned winding crown (for winding up whilst wearing gloves, fixed bars, screw on back, and large clear military markings on the case back as can be seen in some of the photograph's.
The markings read: /|\ ...............very collectible piece of military memorabilia.
