Omega Genève - Ref. 135.041 - Circa.1968 - Steel Wristwatch on Omega Expander Bracelet ***SOLD***
A c.1968 stainless steel manually wound Omega model 135.041, tonneau case central sweep seconds wristwatch.
This Omega model Reference 135.041 which was first introduced by Omega in 1968 is unusual in the fact that it is rare to find on the original Fixo-Flex expander bracelet which was an option from Omega at the time! The steel tonneau shaped case has a polished finish and compliments the sheen finish of the deep aubergine/blue dial variant, which you don’t often see. The dial is in excellent condition with a bright finish and has wide baton markers with with black inserts to their centres.
What’s On Offer
The Omega on offer here has the robust calibre 601 manually wound movement, with 17 jewels, mono-metallic balance, running at 19,800 bph. These movements have the Incabloc shock absorber system. The case, dial and luminescent hands, applied baton index markers and luminescent dots above, outer minute/seconds track, screw-down case back, Omega winding crown and the funky, retro, steel, Omega signed expander bracelet are all in excellent condition.
The watch movement having recently been serviced is also running well and will come with a 12 months VWS guarantee.
