Omega De Ville Calendar - Model Ref: 166.033 in Steel Case - Silver Dial - c.1968
A Beautifully Preserved Vintage Omega De Ville Calendar Automatic with a Stunning Silver Dial and Polished Metal Furniture, Dated to Around 1968.
In 1967 the De Ville dropped “Seamaster” from its name and became a line in its own right. At its launch, the De Ville generated considerable attention due to the fact that it combined OMEGA's already-proven movements with meticulous finish and design.
What’s On Offer
You simply cannot go wrong with a vintage Omega dress watch and this is a particularly charming example. A mid-size watch at 35mm, this watch does wear much larger on the wrist due to its slimline bezel and simplistic yet elegant design. The blemish-free subtly textured silver dial has been beautifully preserved and is furnished with polished metal baton hour markers with onyx inserts ad corresponding hands. There is a date aperture at 3 o'clock underneath a subtle cyclops and an applied Omega logo and De Ville signature complete the dial. A beautifully simple design which will never go out of style, we have paired this watch with a grey leather strap which offers a real understated elegance, however, if you would prefer something different this is easily organised. Running well and keeping good time, a cracking watch just waiting to be worn!
