A Stunning Vintage Omega Automatic De Ville Dynamic in Stainless Steel with a Beautiful Two Tone Blue Dial and Unishell Case.
The first Omega 'Dynamic' was created for the Prix de Ville de Genève in 1965 and launched to the public in 1968. The name, Dynamic, refers to the shape of the case, which was the result of an in-depth study of the anatomy of the wrist. It was one of the first watches to be designed in a way where the timepiece would follow the silhouette of the wrist and fit like a glove.
What’s On Offer
A unique 1970s Omega (we have nicknamed "The UFO") with a real retro aesthetic, this watch has a stunning two-tone blue dial that glints a cool petrol colour mostly in the right light, but, in the bright sunshine, it also glows a rainbow of different shades of blue.
The round case and smooth lines make for really comfortable wear, which of course was the aim of the design. It also has really substantial proportions which gives it a nice presence on the wrist. The super-slim pencil hands in brilliant white really pop from the blue and the subtle date aperture completes a really stylish dial which is encapsulated in a stainless case with an Omega signed crown and the De Ville signature engraved on the caseback. The Watch head is paired with its original stainless steel Oyster style bracelet but is sold with a spare stylish Omega calf leather strap in blue so you change it up to suit your mood!
