Louis Brandt (1825-1879) was a Swiss watchmaker. In 1848 Louis Brandt, at only 23 years old, opened a factory for the production of pocket watches in La Chaux-de-Fonds (canton Neuchâtel). The models produced there first bore his own name, ie "Louis Brandt," on the dial. In 1879 his two sons expanded the workshop into a factory. The caliber "Labrador", having a daily divergency of less than 30 seconds, was developed in 1885 and in 1892 the first watch with minute repetition that strikes hours, quarters and minutes by pressing a trigger was brought onto the market.

What’s On Offer

A rare special edition (no.11) 18k gold automatic chronograph Omega Louis Brandt with distinctive honeycomb dial. The hourly applied black Roman numerals, date aperture set to three o'clock and the subsidiary recorder dials to six, nine and twelve o'clock are bordered by a minute track.

This is a sophisticated tool watch that also seamlessly parades as a stylish dress watch as well as offering functionality.  As advertised, this watch comes complete with its original box and papers.
