A Stunning and Rather Rare Ollech & Wajs Gold Plated Mechanical Two Register Chronograph from the Late 1960s, Fitted With the Iconic Valjoux 7730 Movement. 

The name Ollech & Wajs began in 1956, when Zurich resident Albert Wajs decided to partner with his friend Joseph Ollech and open a luxury watch shop, initially retailing Breitling and Omega before launching their own brand: Ollech & Wajs, Zürich.

A stunning and rather rare offering here in the shape of this gold-plated, manual wind chronograph from Ollech & Wajs who were famed more for their military watches. This stylish and rather luxurious-looking chronograph has aged very well and still boasts a beautiful and blemish-free silver dial with opulent gold baton hour indices and elegant gold pencil hands with subtle luminous inserts. The dished subdials still look well and the Tachymeter scale is perfectly crisp still. The dial is encapsulated in a yellow gold plated case complete with a matching crown and rectangular pushers, and fitted with the legendary Valjoux 7730 movement, what more could one want from a vintage chronograph?

This is a beautiful timepiece with nice proportions, at 36mm, it is a fantastic sized watch yet the slender bezel gives it an even larger presence on the wrist. A rare offer to purchase - this will be snapped up in no time.
