This Jaeger-LeCoultre, Air Ministry issued watch is a superb example of a post-war British military timepiece, presented in very strong overall condition for a watch nearing seventy years old. The clean white dial has aged gracefully, developing subtle patina to the centre from what looks like Radium burn that adds warmth and authenticity without distracting from the crisp Arabic numerals and classic military layout.

The 36mm stainless steel case retains excellent shape and wears beautifully on the wrist, while the engraved AM 6B/159 military markings to the case back firmly anchor the watch in its RAF history. Inside sits Jaeger LeCoultre’s dependable calibre 470 manual-wind movement with 15 jewels and an approximate 40-hour power reserve, serviced in September 2021 by one of our watchmakers whom this watch came from as it was part of his personal watch collection. As the watch was worn only on odd occasions in rotation it still runs as if freshly serviced yesterday and for your added peace of mind it will be sold with our usual 12 month mechanical warranty.
