The Navystar range was introduced in the 1950s and encompassed many different designs and movements, the common denominator being a robust waterproof watch in a slim case. The Cymaflex logo at the bottom of the dial refers to the patented anti-shock system used on the balance staff.

This 1950s Cyma Navystar is in beautiful pre-owned condition and looks great on the wrist. The dial has aged to a pale sepia colour and there is a spattering of patina across the centre - this is purely the natural ageing process and far from being a flaw, it is simply part of the joy of vintage watch collecting! The dial is furnished with yellow-gold baton hour plots and beautiful Dauphine hands and is encapsulated underneath shatterproof Plexiglas. The polished stainless steel case is in nice shape given its age of over 70 years, as is the corresponding bracelet.
