We are delighted to offer this rare and historically significant Rolex trench-style watch, a beautiful transitional piece from the early 20th century. Its striking black dial is full of vintage charm, particularly the beautiful gilt cathedral hands with luminous inserts. We do suspect the crown and maybe the Rolex signature could have been repainted at some point in its lifetime, a long time ago for sure - this isn't uncommon and takes nothing away from its charm to be honest. The bold Arabic numerals, recessed sub-dial at 6 o’clock, and classic Rolex signature complete this wonderfully characterful dial.

The solid silver case features a stunning coin edge design and is hallmarked by Stockwell & Co, one of the most respected importers of Swiss watch cases during this era, adding further collectability to this piece. A flat onion crown finishes the case beautifully, enhancing its period charm. The watch is paired with a black leather strap, perfectly complementing its classic trench-watch aesthetic.
