Rolex introduced the Yacht-Master in 1992 and it has remained a popular reference ever since. More luxurious than the Submariner, sportier than the Datejust, and simpler than the GMT-Master, the Rolex Yacht-Master is the epitome of a sports-luxe watch and a must for the well-heeled yacht owner or enthusiast!

The Rolex Yachtmaster is the epitome of the luxury sports watch; this example is a beautiful package. The rhodium dial is an exquisite sunburst with a spectrum ranging from silver to charcoal depending on the lighting conditions. There is a date aperture at 3 o'clock which sits underneath a cyclops in the crystal for visibility and Chromalight indexes and ‘Mercedes’ hands make for a highly legible dial in low light. There are punches of aqua blue on the central second's hand and on the Yachtmaster signature that add a sporting and nautical accent - this is a really attractive dial configuration and wears beautifully on the wrist. The bi-directional bezel is functional and allows the wearer to calculate, for example, the sailing time between two buoys yet it is also a key component in the model's visual identity. The raised polished numerals and graduations stand out clearly against a matt, sand-blasted background. This 2016 preowned watch has been well taken care of with only light signs of wear. It is sold with its original box and papers and is running well. This is a real head-turner on the wrist and we absolutely love it! 

The 116622 has now been replaced by the 126626 which effectively means this watch is discontinued, however, the only difference is a slight change to the movement which has increased the power reserve, outwardly the watches are identical.
