c.1900s Zenith 9k rose gold trench watch – enamel dial

32mm 9k rose gold case with black Arabic numeral plots on an enamel white dial and a subsidiary seconds dial. Zenith signed case, manual wind movement. Inner case back marked .375/9 9ct mark. Fixed lugs, screw case back and front.

A rarely seen military 1900s trench watch by Zenith. Remarkable condition age considered. Most similar models have seen cracks and damage to the dial due to the delicate porcelain dial during wear, making this pristine example something of a rarity. Crisp case edges with hardly any signs of visible wear, blued steel hands which are in top condition and serve as proof of the watch’s stunning all-round condition. The watch has been serviced by our expert watchmaker so is ready to go!  

Photographed here on a bund strap, this Zenith would most likely have been used by officers being a 9k gold cased watch.
