A beautiful ultra-thin dress watch with classic lines and slender proportions from a world-renowned watchmaker. The 18k gold Art Deco styled, square case encapsulates a sophisticated silver ‘linen’ dial with applied faceted gold baton hour markers, graceful pencil hands, and a subtle crown. The applied solid gold V&C ‘Maltese Cross’ brand is undersigned Vacheron & Constantin and Geneve. There is an understated opulence about this watch which nods toward the simple elegance and luxury styling.

Following its outer finery, the inside of this watch is powered by one of the company's caliber K1001 movements, which are widely considered the finest hand-wound calibers the company has ever made. They certainly stood the test of time, remaining in production for near on thirty years. One of the earlier watches to boast this revered movement, we believe this watch was produced during the 1950s.

Of course, there are signs of wear here and there and slight blemishes on the dial, however, it remains a beautiful vintage watch in original condition from a distinguished watchmaker, and at over 60 years old, who wouldn’t have a few imperfections!  A superb addition to any collection.
