Omega Seamaster 1000m Divers' Watch Ref.166.093 ***SOLD***
A milestone in the history of waterproof wristwatches, this rare Omega Seamaster 1000m Divers’ Watch (Reference 166.093) is an excellently preserved example of the iconic chunky deep sea watch. Pristine service dial with super visible service hands and date for ease of use underwater. Stainless steel case waterproof to 1km; perfect for a range of diving applications. Luminescent hands and dial with a neon orange minute hand make for a striking dial.
Omega pioneered the 1000m diver's watch with this unique variation of the ‘Flightmaster’ case without a screw back, making it revolutionary in its functional ability at even the most extreme depths. This particular case is in remarkable condition and remains true to its unpolished original finish. Its vivid orange hour hands along with the extensive use of luminescent strips around the index hour markers, make it a highly legible dial perfect for day to day and diving uses.
This watch has had the original dial, hands, glass, seal and crown replaced by Swiss Time Services (an authorised Omega vintage watch service centre), however the original aforementioned components will be sent with the watch. If you would prefer for the original components to be fitted instead, that is also an option. The watch comes with the original ‘seatbelt’ style bracelet (Reference 1247/237) and the additional diver’s extension link.
The original bezel encases the watch’s thick glass and also features prominent luminescent inserts, as well as a ratchet-locking unidirectional bezel for timing during dives.
