The stainless steel Omega Speedmaster ‘ED White’ were the last of the straight lug watches produced before the twisted lugs were introduced. The nickname ‘Ed White’ was given due to it being worn on the first ever spacewalk by astronaut Ed White.

This Speedmaster has an original, stepped, matte black dial with luminous, tritium ‘index’ hour markers and luminous ‘baton’ hands, which are all correct.

It has three subsidiary dials indicating constant seconds, 30 minutes and 12 hours registers.

The black bezel insert is a ‘DNN’ and not the 'DON' which was likely, historically changed at service, but looks like it belongs as it matches the rest of the watch perfectly. It looks well and fits nicely with the watch. The price point of this piece we feel reflects the later bezel.

The watch is manual wound and comes with a calibre 321, 17 jewel movement that was recently serviced by our expert watchmaker and now comes with our 12 month guarantee.

We have left the original, correct pushers on the watch as they are in great condition.

The case back is still crisply engraved with the Seahorse and Omega symbol.

This fantastic Omega 105.003 Speedmaster comes on an Omega bracelet which is a reference 1171, which is again in superb condition.

Overall a great watch at a great price which reflect the originality and condition of this rare model reference but take account of the bezel.
