A Very Nice Example of the Omega Seamaster 120 Automatic Date Model Ref: 166.027, with Pumpkin Lume and Paired with an Original Omega Beads of Rice Bracelet, 1968

Omega launched the Seamaster 120 in 1966 as a specialist model for scuba diving enthusiasts. This made good commercial sense as the kind of wealthy individuals who partook in what was considered a rather exotic leisure pursuit, were likely to be enthusiastic about expensive luxury watches.

We are very pleased to offer this wonderful 1968 Omega Seamaster 120 for sale in fantastic vintage condition. These watches don't come around that often in such nice condition and when they do they are snapped up quickly. This example is particularly nice, the dial is in superb condition, rich black with lume that has aged to a stunning and very desirable pumpkin colour across the hour plots and on the luminous inserts on the hands. There is a subtle date aperture at 3 o'clock and the dial is completed by the Omega and Seamaster signatures. The case is also in nice shape and of course, features the Omega Hippocampus which has been present on Seamasters since 1957. This is a vintage tool watch, as such it does show some signs of wear, there are a couple of blemishes on the bezel, but nothing of any concern and barely visible at a glance. The watch is paired with an original Omega needs of rice bracelet (1068) in stainless steel which is in fantastic condition. It is rare to find such a nice example of this watch with such beautiful vintage features, it runs well and wears very nicely on the wrist.
