In 1967 the De Ville dropped “Seamaster” from its name and became a line in its own right. At its launch, the De Ville generated considerable attention due to the fact that it combined OMEGA's already-proven movements with meticulous finish and design.

You simply cannot go wrong with a gold Omega dress watch and this De Ville Automatic is a superb example. The Champagne sunburst dial is stunning and boasts applied gold indexes with onyx inserts and corresponding hands. There is a gold framed date aperture at 3 o'clock and the Omega signature completes an elegant dial which is encapsulated underneath shatterproof Plexiglas and encased in 14k yellow gold. At 34mm this watch is a little more slender by proportion however, it wears larger on the wrist due to its super slim gold bezel. The case and lugs are in superb shape and the watch wears beautifully on the wrist - light and comfortable and easily worn underneath a cuff. This watch is perfectly suitable for everyday wear aswell as more formal occasions. It is simply charming, a gold watch at a reasonable price - snap it up!
