The Omega “Dirty Dozen” remains one of the most sought-after military watches ever produced. Built for British forces during the Second World War, these rugged field watches were designed for reliability, legibility and durability in combat conditions. Omega’s version stood out thanks to its superb 30T2 movement and clean, balanced dial design. Today, surviving examples are prized by collectors for their military history, honest tool-watch character and connection to one of horology’s most iconic wartime watch programmes.

What's on Offer

What’s on offer here is another superb example of Omega’s legendary “Dirty Dozen” military watch, issued around 1944 for British forces during the Second World War. Housed in a 35mm stainless steel case, this piece features the classic black military dial with luminous Arabic numerals, subsidiary seconds and broad sword hands that made these watches so easy to read in the field.

The caseback retains its original military engravings, including the WWW broad arrow issue markings alongside reference Y7226 and serial 10671425, all still clearly visible. Inside sits the celebrated Omega 30T2 manual-wind movement, widely regarded as one of the finest military calibres of the era thanks to its reliability and robust construction.

Condition is a strong 8.5/10 overall, with honest wear and ageing consistent with a wartime-issued tool watch. The dial remains clean and balanced with attractive patina to the lume, while the stainless steel case shows expected marks and surface wear from age and use. Fitted to a green NATO-style strap, this is a highly collectible and wearable piece of military horology history.
