Lemania has contributed significantly to military horology by producing robust chronographs and wristwatches used by various armed forces around the globe. These timepieces were engineered to withstand extreme conditions, from scorching deserts to icy tundras, ensuring soldiers could rely on their accuracy for navigation, coordination of attacks, and timing manoeuvres. Notably, Lemania's chronographs were integral in equipping pilots and navy personnel, where precise timing could mean the difference between success and catastrophe.

What's on Offer

These watches were issued to the Pilots of the RAF and Seamen of the Royal Navy and were produced for around 20 years in low numbers so they are very much collectors items in their own right, but this watch is particularly special as it was issued to navy personnel to accompany them on nuclear submarines - this is why the dial contains no luminous material as it may have interfered with radiation sensors on-board. The white dial is stark with bold black Arabic numerals  - this is helpful when operating in low light without luminous material. The military arrow completes the dial. To the case back you will find the original military engravings and also the military arrow is present again.
