An Immaculate and Rare Doxa Sharkhunter SUB 600T Limited Edition, Sold With Box and Papers, Dated 2004. 

Doxa watches have a rich and fascinating history that spans over a century. The story of Doxa began in 1889, when Georges Ducommun founded the company in Le Locle, Switzerland. Initially specializing in pocket watches, Doxa quickly gained recognition for its precision and craftsmanship. In the early 20th century, Doxa introduced wristwatches and became one of the pioneers in this emerging trend.

Their designs combined elegance with functionality, making them popular among both men and women. However, it was in the 1960s that Doxa truly made its mark on the watchmaking industry. They launched their iconic "Sub" collection, which revolutionized diving watches. These timepieces had unique features such as an orange dial for improved underwater visibility and a unidirectional rotating bezel for accurate dive timing. The Sub collection gained immense popularity among professional divers and enthusiasts alike.

The Doxa Sub 600T - an iconic reference and just look at the condition of this watch! The dial is immaculate with block hour markers and chunky hands which are both luminous, this watch is fantastic for visibility in low light! Both hands are white on this example giving it the nickname 'The Great White', you will note that the non-limited edition equivalents to this watch have one orange hand. There is also a dial aperture at 3 o'clock which completes the dial which is encapsulated underneath mineral crystal. The bezel is also in superb shape with depth denoted in a zesty orange which adds a sporting accent. The case is incredibly well preserved with barely a mark, you really need to see this watch, the condition is incredible for a 20 year old watch it has clearly been meticulously cared for. Though the dimensions of this watch are meaty at 42mm (excluding crown) in width and 45mm in length and it certainly has a presence of the wrist, it remains surprisingly light and comfortable. The watch is paired with its original Doxa beads-of-rice bracelet with a folding clasp that boasts the Doxa signature as does the crown - Doxa through and through. This is a limited edition watch, only 3000 were produced and if you could find one in this condition I would be very surprised - it is almost new old stock condition and it is sold with its original box and papers - I cannot find another for sale. A fantastic watch for everyday wear, running well and keeping good time.
