Cortebert

Manufacturers of the famous Cortebert 'ATP', issued to British Army officers during the earlier years of the Second World War. The watch has a railroad sub seconds dial, as well as a minute dial, and is sometimes found with a sterile dial.    The original dial has a railroad track chapter ring and sub seconds dial, and flat topped 3 and an open 4.     Later MoD redials have a closed pregnant 4, curved 3, sometimes an open 9, and a sub seconds dial with tick marks.   Rarely Cortebert is in capitals.
