A Superb TAG Heuer Monaco Calibre 12  Model Ref: CAW2111.0, Issued in 2015 and in Fantastic Condition, Sold with Box and Papers

Named in honour of the Formula One race, the original Jack Heuer designed Monaco was introduced simultaneously in Geneva and New York City in 1969. The watch used the mechanism of the Calibre 11 (also known as the Chronomatic) and was the first automatic micro-winding chronograph.

The Monaco is the most iconic and recognizable Tag Heuer collection since their inception in 1860. Its meaty square case shape, various special editions, and its close relationship to racing have ensured it has remained relevant for decades. 

This 2015  calibre 12 model is in superb shape and bears all the iconic hallmarks of this legendary watch. The dial is in perfect condition and boasts the two synonymous counters recessed into the rich petrol blue dial, chunky sword hands with luminous inserts and those firey punches of red that pull together the whole dial which is encapsulated underneath scratch-resistant sapphire crystal. There is also a date window at 6 o’clock, the horizontal hour indexes set with diamonds and the original Heuer logo. 

The watch is equipped with a sapphire crystal bottom to showcase the calibre. The case consists of three parts, with four screws. The two push buttons at 2 and 4 o’clock are also squared. This watch is in fantastic preowned condition and is sold with its original box and papers and Paired with a brand new TAG leather strap with folding clasp.
