Vintage Bulova Accutron Calender Day Date Reference 7083-3 Calibre 2182 Circa. 1974

This a lovely vintage Bulova Accutron dated to 1974.

The overall condition is very good and in full working order with a new battery recently fitted. Light blemishes can be found around the case and bracelet which is normal for a watch at this age. The case is stainless steel and sits at 37.5mm which is a nice size for all wrists, the unique shape also gives it a nice vintage feel. The watch comes on a steel Bracelet which is likely original to the watch because of the style and fitting but we think the clasp may have been changed at some point as this is unbranded!

The silver brushed dial against the steel surroundings looks in great condition. The baton markers and hands are also in good condition and the batons have lume-tipped ends.

These watches were fitted with the Bulova 2182 Calibre movement. A highly reliable tuning fork movement that was way ahead of its time when produced. When placed next to your ear you can hear the distinct tuning fork sound which is another cool thing about Accutron watches.
