The base ETA/Valjoux 7750 movement in this Carrera, also known as the TAG Heuer Caliber 16, is perhaps the most successful automatic chronograph movement ever produced. By the late 1990s, the 7750 was the most popular automatic chronograph movement on the planet. It's little wonder then, that these watches have remained popular and are still very collectible as well as being a reliable, stylish, and functional timepiece. 

What’s On Offer 

A 2007 Tag Heuer Carrera Automatic Caliber 16 in tip-top shape on offer here, complete with its original box and papers. A beast of a watch measuring 41mm, yet surprisingly comfortable and not overbearing at all in terms of dial composition considering its functional capabilities. The rich black dial is in clean condition with no blemishes and the applied furniture all still looks good with polished steel baton hour markers and pencil hands – all with luminous inserts. A pop of blood-red on the second hand and sub-dial hands adds another dimension and the sporting aesthetic continues into the branded black Tag Heuer rubber strap. The watch also sports a display back which is a really nice feature. The crown, pushers, and lugs still look good with black Tachymetre Bezel, only showing minor signs of general wear, and the watch is running well and keeping good time.

A cracking watch, punchy on the wrist, great functionality with classic Tag styling. You won’t go far wrong with this, an affordable luxury sports watch.
