2016 Brand New Bell & Ross Réserve de Marche BR03-97 with Power Reserve display. Box and papers with Spare Bell & Ross Strap. 

Paying tribute to the aviation dials associated with old-fashioned aeroplane design, Bell & Ross make unique watches which are instantly recognisable amongst collectors and cult fans of the brand. Their case constructions are beautifully minimal, relying on high quality stainless steel finishing, and offer a beauty in simplicity where many modern watchmakers miss out. Featuring their iconic square cases secured by four chunky screws, the dial is characterised here by oversized 12, 3 and 9 Arabic numerals, large applied hour batons and, unusually, a power reserve register, which (as the name implies) indicates how much longer the automatic BR-CAL.307 movement can power the watch for. This is based on an ETA movement with customisation and optimisation from Bell & Ross, making for an incredibly accurate and bespoke movement. This also includes a date complication with a neat date aperture at 4:30. 

What's on offer

At 42mm, the case sits beautifully in proportion in to the wrist, and has a lovely look to it thanks to contrasting satin and brushed metal textures between the bezel, screws and case body. The square lugs slope away from the watch face towards the tough, heat-treated black leather band, making for a very comfortable sports watch. 

This Bell & Ross BR03-97 was purchased brand new in 2016 and has been worn scarcely since then, leaving it in excellent condition. The case is incredibly crisp and sharp, with very little evidence of wear or use beyond what would be expected. The watch comes complete with its original international warranty card and booklet (signed November 2016), as well as all additional paperwork and all original packaging and spare unworn textile strap also by Bell & Ross.
