WWW Cyma Military Watch, Model P82xx 132xx, Calibre 234, 15 Jewels, c.1940

£1,695.00GBP

The beautifully collectable ‘Dirty Dozen’ set finds this Cyma in its ranks. Famed for their service in World War II, the Cyma saw only 20,000 units produced, this being number P 82xx (Military ref.), 132xx (Civilian ref.).

Featuring a sub-seconds register at 6 O’clock, the dial has aged wonderfully. The radium baton hours appear completely original to the watch, having slowly burnt a deeper, darker colour over the years. Otherwise, the dial appears as sharp and crisp as ever – ‘swiss made’ below the 6 O’clock baton is strikingly clear.

The calibre 234 movement works excellently having seen an inspection and service by our expert watchmaker.

We suspect that the case on this watch may have seen historical light polish work, something that we feel you should know. This is very hard to call, but the case condition doesn’t feel completely in line with that of the dial. That being said, the watch looks beautiful for it, and the deep vintage dial ties it together well.
