A very beautiful vintage Welsbro Watch Co telemeter dial three button chronograph. This gents chronograph is a very rare version with the return pusher being in the centre of the crown button.

This watch is simply stunning and original. The dial is one of the nicest dials we have seen on a vintage chronograph and the hands are very nice too, with blued steel hour, minute and constant seconds hand.

The chronograph minute, small sub dial hand, is red along with the chronograph minute counter hand giving the watch a very nice and individual look. The detailed dial is also shown off by the really long tail on the chronograph centre seconds hand. All in all it looks great with a nice touch of colour.

The gold plated case is in good condition with light signs of use. The plexus glass is in stunning condition also. The fantastic and relatively complicated movement is very nice and clean and is running well with all functions performing perfectly having had a recent service.

The movement and also the case and dial are all signed Welsbro although our research tells us the movement is a "base" Landeron 248 as was fitted in many other quality watches including the very famous and expensive vintage Heuer's of yesteryear.

The watch will come on a new "croc" style brown leather band with gold plated pin buckle.

Overall condition of this fine and complicated yet elegant piece is great. We would estimate this watch dates from circa 1950's.

The watch measures 34 mm across not including the crown and is 13 mm thick and therefore stands out as opposed to the much smaller watches of that same era.

Be quick and buy yourself a very reasonably priced vintage Heuer equivalent watch for a fraction of the price. Don't be a brand name snob and see this watch for the fine piece it is!
