Pre-Owned Rolex Perpetual Explorer II Wrist Watch With Black Dial. Ref: 16570. First Sold New in 2008. (With Engraved Rehaut).

With its highly legible dial, tough, durable and corrosion resistant Oyster case in steel with the solid link Oyster bracelet and waterproof capacities, the Rolex Explorer II is a reliable, high-performance timepiece -  even in the toughest of conditions hence the 'Explorer' name.

This pre-owned Rolex Perpetual Explorer II (Model Reference Number 16570, from 2008) is a self-winding automatic men’s wrist watch with a 40mm stainless steel case encompassing a stunning black dial with the signature Rolex Mercedes style hours hand and steel engraved bezel with beautiful sunburst finish. 

This particular 40mm version was produced for 22 years by the brand, between 1989 and 2011, and is famed for its low-key design, dual time zone functionality and near indestructibility - truly a timepiece for the most extreme conditions.

The watch is powered by the robust Rolex 3186 (transitional) self-winding movement, used from 2007 and offering a 46-hour power reserve and COSC-Chronometer Certification. This movement also allows the wearer to easily and independently configure the hour hand. If you’re jumping between time zones, all you need to do is unscrew and pull the crown out to its first position to change the hour forwards or backwards without disturbing the minutes and GMT hands. 

What’s on offer:

This watch was purchased from new in Vercelli, Italy in 2008, so this is the later model with 'engraved rehaut'. 

As you will no doubt see from our images the watch is in like new condition, with no blemishes at all and has just returned from a complete overhaul and service by our own watchmaker. The case is very crisp with sharp edges and a beautiful finish.

It is sold with its original box (inner and outer sleeve,) card, service and instruction booklets etc.
