1945 saw the birth of the Datejust, the first self‑winding wrist chronometer to indicate the date in a window on the dial. A watch of great distinction, the Datejust was equipped with a Jubilee bracelet created especially for it and a fluted bezel, making it immediately recognisable as a Rolex.

This 2005 Rolex Datejust is in excellent pre-owned condition with very few signs of wear. The stunning silver sunburst dial is blemish-free and boasts applied baton hour markers with luminous tips and the Rolex coronet sits at 12 o'clock. Elegant stick hands with luminous inserts rotate gracefully around the dial along with a needle seconds hand and a subtle date aperture sits at 3 o'clock. A Roman chapter ring completes the dial which is encapsulated under scratch-free Sapphire Crystal. The Fluted bezel and case are also in beautiful condition as is the Jubilee bracelet. The Datejust is an iconic reference exuding style and sophisticated elegance without being ostentatious. This watch is sold with its original box and papers and is running well and keeping good time.
