A Charming Art Deco Style Omega Dress Watch with a Beautiful Square Dial and Paired with a Classic Ostrich Strap, c.1944
A wonderfully preserved and utterly charming 1940s square-cased Omega in fabulous condition. Featuring an iconic Art Deco black/white dial with an ornate second sub-register at 6 o'clock and beautiful Breguet numerals. The original dial has been re-painted beautifully, and along with the glass, is in superb shape. This is complimented well by the polished steel gently curved 'leaf' style hands, also in fantastic condition.
The lugs are semi-articulated, accentuating the watch's overall elegance, and we have paired it with a beautiful soft Ostrich leather strap in tan brown which really brings out some warmth in the dial. The case is in remarkably good condition considering its eighty-year vintage. On the case edges, the factory polish is still visible, and this is even more applicable to the back. The movement has been recently serviced by our expert watchmaker and is keeping time well. This watch is still in full working order and looks wonderful on the wrist, especially given its new pairing with the Ostrich strap.
