A vintage Omega Seamaster Cosmic, automatic, one-piece (Unishell) case, with fantastic and original deep blue cross hair dial, caliber 565 movement, 24 jewels, 19800 bph, model reference, ST 166.0026 - Tool 107, circa 1965.

Omega described this watch as, "from the International Collection". This model is a gent’s wristwatch in stainless steel although they look equally cool on a lady which is who, the last one we had, went to!

The watch is in excellent condition showing only small signs of wear. Sturdy barrel-shaped,one piece, "Unishell" type case that opens on the dial side i.e. you need to take the glass out and there is a tool for doing this that most good watch makers will have. The official version supplied by Omega being given reference "Tool 107" hence this forms part of the watch model reference number.

This watch still has its original Omega signed crown and a brand new armoured hesalite crystal also signed in the centre with the Omega symbol was fitted recently whilst the watch was being serviced . Both the watch and the movement are in excellent condition.

The case measures 35 mm not including the crown and 37.5 mm with! Again, as previously stated, the case is in excellent condition showing very few, and then, only tiny signs of wear!

Embossed on the back with the Seamaster, Seahorse and Omega logo, with "waterproof" and watch model ref. "166026-TOOL 107".

Factory-original and quite rare deep blue dial with unusual Arabic hour markers mixed with applied steel baton markers at 12-6 and 9, all in excellent condition with no signs of age! Silver coloured steel stick hands, steel central seconds and date aperture at 3. The face is also signed Omega, Automatic, Seamaster Cosmic, T-Swiss Made-T.

Authentic Omega automatic Caliber 565 with 24 Jewels. Keeping excellent time. Quick set date by pulling out the crown all the way and quickly pushing back in!

Overall this has to be one of the nicest examples of this model in this dial colour we have seen and to enhance it we have found a nice textured blue leather band with a pin buckle which we have put on the watch as you can see from the photo's. The band looks great and the blue really picks out the dial and hour markers very nicely.

A fantastic watch for any collector!
