Military Stop Watch, c.1940s
1940’s 1/10 seconds military stop watch.
Stainless steel hinged 3 piece case with large onion crown.
The case is in good condition for a piece dating back to the 1940’s with some very small dents and scratches and some marks at the back opening points.
The white 1/10 second dial has 1 – 30 in black at the outer edge and 31 – 60 inside that with a minute sub dial just below the 12 o’clock position and with black hands.
The dial and hands are in excellent condition however the glass has a small crack at the 8 o’clock position.
The watch has a mechanical hand wind movement which is numbered 97***.
The movement is running well and seems to be an accurate stop watch.
There are no original papers or box with this watch.
This is a very good example of a military stop watch dating back to the 1940’s which is in overall good condition and we think it would be a addition for any collector of this type of piece.
