WWW Jaeger LeCoultre Dirty Dozen - British Military Watch

Rare c.1944 Jaeger LeCoultre WWW 'Dirty Dozen' British WWII military watch.

A stunning example of Jaeger LeCoultre’s WWII-issue production piece for the Ministry of Defence in 1944. A 35mm stainless steel case with fixed lug bars, original dial with creamy, patina tone to hour plots and sunken sub-seconds register at 6 o’clock. Very subtle wear to parts of the case edges and lugs which gives it a beautiful vintage feel and detracts nothing from the watch’s general excellent condition.

Cathedral hands featuring luminous inserts which have taken on a similar even ageing process with a mild creamy tone to them. The hands themselves are as crisp as the hour plots and painted Arabic numerals, all evenly aged with the infamously sought-after patina we know and love in the "Dirty Dozen".
