1900's WW1 Elem trench watch in a silver hallmarked case.

This Elem Trench watch is in a polished silver case with a screw on bezel that incorporates the glass with a brass crown. The back of the case is inscribed Brevet +65171 and numbered 435548 and also has the Glasgow import logo and a date letter to circa.1915.

For a watch that is over 100 years old the case is in excellent overall condition.

The Elem Trench watch has a white enamel dial with Arabic numerals at the hour positions. 1 to 11 is in black with 12 in red. Small gold dots at the minute positions and a seconds sub dial at the 6 o’clock position. The dainty hour, minute and sub seconds hands are all in black.

The dial, hands and glass are all in excellent condition with the glass having patina of a cream colour with age.

The Elem signed mechanical hand wind movement is running well and keeping good time.

This is a lovely little trench watch that we are sure will appeal to collectors of early 1900’s watches.
