Martin-Baker is a British aviation company responsible for supplying 70% of the world’s Air Forces with fighter ejection seat technology. To date, Martin Baker seats have saved over 7,600 lives. The company approached Bremont in 2007 to create a watch that could withstand the same rigorous testing program as the ejection seats do. Two years later, the Bremont MB-1 was born.

Offering complete durability and resilience along with bucket loads of style, this watch was inspired by some components taken from the ejection seats themselves, a distinctive knurled effect is added to the aluminum barrel (mid-case) of the watch and decorated in this ultra-bold orange colour.

The black metal dial features Superluminova coated numerals and hands for clear visibility and a yellow and black seconds hand inspired by an ejection seat pull handle. This Bremont Martin Baker MBII watch also comes equipped with the highly accurate, chronometer-certified BE-36AE automatic movement which provides hour, minute, and seconds function, a date window at 3H, and a power reserve of 38 hours.  This watch is in excellent condition, with only a few small blemishes on the bezel to note and it comes complete with box, papers and a new replacement ‘Chalgrove’ high-performance bi-material strap, and the worn black leather that it was worn on originally. A superb watch, offering, sporty, functional, and stylish looks.
