A Sporty and Stylish Breitling Colt Model Ref; A17380 (Discontinued Reference) Unidirectional Rotating Bezel. Complete with Box and Papers. Issued 2009.
The Colt was born in the 1980s and initially intended for the armed forces – like other Breitling watches such as the Navitimer and the Chronomat – before winning over a broad audience through its sturdiness, reliability, and its readability. It has since established itself as the most accessible Breitling model. The Colt has traditionally been one of the entry-level models from Breitling and it has always blended a certain military appeal with the basics of a dive watch. The Colt was discontinued some four years ago making this a nice piece of Breitling history for lovers of the brand that missed out.

The design of the Colt is somewhat utilitarian, with a straightforward and uncluttered dial, pencil hands with luminous inserts, a pop of red on the arrowhead tip of the second's hand, and a nicely executed date function at 3, all encapsulated beneath the anti-reflective sapphire crystal. The substantial unidirectional rotating bezel boasts a smooth action with rider tabs to aid grip. This watch is certainly hefty and considerably weighty, however, is surprisingly comfortable on the wrist. It's in really nice shape with only minor signs of regular wear, nothing concerning. It is running well and keeping good time and comes with a 12-month VWS warranty. A cracking all-rounder, great for daily wear.
