A slim 18 Carat solid gold dress watch with an elegant set of lugs, thin bezel and Roman numeral and stick hour plots, this De Ville is a stunning dress watch. It features a date at 3, easily set by the original crown, and is powered by an 8 jewel 1379 Calibre Quartz movement - very accurate and reliable. The case back is press-down, making the case a slim-profiled wear which easily fits under a suit or shirt cuff. The case back has a lovely retro Omega engraving into it, and fortunately, the original black patent leather strap is still attached with the original buckle.

What's on offer

This is an all original and honest 18k gold Omega BA 196.2379, first introduced in 1991 (we cannot date this exact model, though it is likely mid-90s). As shown by photos, the case is in excellent condition with only the tiniest signs of wear (visible under a magnifying loupe), though there are a couple of small marks on the case back. The dial appears brand new, and the sapphire crystal is still entirely intact and clean. For a watch made from a material as soft as 18 Carat gold, this is in excellent condition particularly considering its age!
