Named after the eight stars emblazoned on its crest, the Constellation was introduced by Omega in 1952. Because of its high-quality construction and unfaltering precision, the Constellation quickly gained popularity. 

The eight stars on the Constellation medallion represent the eight precision records that omega set at Kew-Teddington and the Geneva Observatory during the mid 20th century. The stars and observatory, pay homage to these results and the accuracy that the Constellation watch offered and still offers to this day.

This Omega Constellation is a handsome devil indeed with its beautiful royal blue dial and steel baton hour indices. The slim pencil hands are very elegant and compliment the simplicity of the dial perfectly. This watch wears very nicely on the wrist, whilst its dimensions are not huge, the slender bezel gives it a larger aesthetic, and the blue dial adds a rather rare and unique look. The integrated original Omega bracelet also adds a meaty finish to the proportions as does the signed crown. The watch is in great shape with only minimal signs of general wear.
