The Rolex Submariner needs no introduction. Arguably one of the most sought-after and beloved timepieces ever made, there is no mistaking this watch. Introduced in 1954, further popularised by James Bond in 1962, and now a timeless piece of design and horological mastery, the Submariner is a collectable and wearable classic which is here to stay.

A rich, stunning colour palette on a classic model, the Rolex Submariner 116613LB is a beauty to look at, especially in the light. Featuring a subtle sunburst effect to its royal navy dial and a matte Cerachrom bezel insert, the watch achieves some beautiful angles as it is reflected through the sun. The date at 3:00 is magnified by a cyclops, and is quickly changed via the gold screw-down crown with a 'Quick Set' mechanism. 

Functionally, this is first and foremost a divers' watch: it carries a unidirectional rotating bezel with engraved 60-minute graduations for calculating decompression stops and timing during diving. The new ceramic bezels in the post-2010 Submariner are considerably more durable and matte, when compared with the more reflective, but less scratch-proof aluminium editions as seen in earlier models. 

What's on offer

In practically unworn condition, this Rolex Submariner bears next to no sign of wear in spite of having been purchased nearly 3 years ago. The case, bracelet, dial, glass and edges all look in mint condition, with only the most microscopic traces of evidence that the watch has left the factory.

The original shop bezel protector is still attached, and importantly, a copy of the original purchase receipt is available and included as the original Rolex warranty was lost by the original owner but the copy invoice proves when the watch was purchased new in 2017. These accurately verify the watch's authenticity, location and date of purchase, and are a great inclusion with the watch's box. The watch will also come with a leather VWS presentation pouch and is covered by a 12-month VWS warranty and probably by remainder of the Rolex 5 Year warranty (2022) as you will have proof of original purchase!
