Omega first began applying "Genève" to the dials of their dressier 30mm watches in 1953. This was in honour of their 30mm calibre that set records at the Geneva Observatory and by 1967 the name began to be applied to models throughout Omega's range.

The dial has been well preserved and boasts applied baton hour markers, elegant stick hands with Onyx inserts and a subtle date aperture at 3 o'clock - all encapsulated underneath Omega-signed crystal which corresponds with the Omega-signed crown - this watch is Omega through and through! 

The slim bezel showcases the dial perfectly and gives the illusion of being larger in size, however, it is a mid-size watch and as such wears very comfortably on the wrist. Paired with an opulent chocolate leather strap, this watch will simply never go out of style and could offer an affordable introduction to vintage watch collecting.
